Preparations are finished and rehearsals are underway for a unique and exciting 2025-2026 Montgomery Chorale Season as we celebrate 51 years of singing! Since 1974, the Montgomery Chorale has been inspiring audiences and fostering community across the River Region. This season, we begin our second semicentennial with eyes toward the future while honoring where we’ve been! Our season opener in October, SONGS FROM THE STAGE, includes solo and ensemble performances of some of the greatest selections from opera and musical theatre by our supremely talented singers. In December, we will host our annual philanthropic event, MESSIAH SING ALONG, joining voices, community members, and great music all to benefit the Heart of Alabama Food Bank. We will also collaborate with the Montgomery Symphony Orchestra once again on the annual JOYCE CADDELL HOLIDAY POPS concert, and I have the distinct privilege of conducting the entire performance! In March, we will put a different spin on the tradition of SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NEW, SOMETHING BORROWED, SOMETHING BLUE, and our season closes with the 2026 CAPITAL CITY CHORAL FESTIVAL, featuring a massed choir of our community’s youngest choristers performing John Rutter’s Mass of the Children! Join us for another year of spectacular singing with the Montgomery Chorale!
